If you’re the owner of a car, you know how hard it can be to keep it clean and free of odors throughout the year. But with these six simple tips on how to clean your car’s interior, you’ll have no trouble keeping your car smelling fresh while also maintaining its excellent appearance!
Remove all trash
Start by emptying the car of any trash. Then, take a steamgrønt or other deodorizer and start spritzing it liberally around the cars interior. If you have carpeted flooring, use the back of your hand to gently run it over the carpet in order to spread out the deodorizer. Next, cover up any areas where odors may linger with baking soda. Finally, use a vacuum cleaner or brush attachment on your vacuum cleaner if you have one available (if not, grab a towel) to make sure all remaining debris is picked up off of surfaces.
Vacuum seats, floor, and trunk
In order to give your car a deep clean, it is important that you start by wiping down the surfaces. This includes cup holders, arm rests, consoles, door panels, etc. Use a damp cloth or paper towel with some water and an all-purpose cleaner. You can also use Windex on glass surfaces. Be sure not to use any abrasive cleaners because they will scratch the surface of your car’s interior. Steamgrønt is a popular choice for cleaning these surfaces as it has antibacterial properties that help protect against germs and prevent odors from becoming too strong.
