If you’re the owner of a car, you know how hard it can be to keep it clean and free of odors throughout the year. But with these six simple tips on how to clean your car’s interior, you’ll have no trouble keeping your car smelling fresh while also maintaining its excellent appearance!

Remove all trash

Start by emptying the car of any trash. Then, take a steamgrønt or other deodorizer and start spritzing it liberally around the cars interior. If you have carpeted flooring, use the back of your hand to gently run it over the carpet in order to spread out the deodorizer. Next, cover up any areas where odors may linger with baking soda. Finally, use a vacuum cleaner or brush attachment on your vacuum cleaner if you have one available (if not, grab a towel) to make sure all remaining debris is picked up off of surfaces.

Vacuum seats, floor, and trunk

In order to give your car a deep clean, it is important that you start by wiping down the surfaces. This includes cup holders, arm rests, consoles, door panels, etc. Use a damp cloth or paper towel with some water and an all-purpose cleaner. You can also use Windex on glass surfaces. Be sure not to use any abrasive cleaners because they will scratch the surface of your car’s interior. Steamgrønt is a popular choice for cleaning these surfaces as it has antibacterial properties that help protect against germs and prevent odors from becoming too strong.

Wipe down surfaces

The best way to clean your indvendig rengøring af bil is with a wet towel. Spray the towel with Steamgrønt, which has a fresh scent that will leave your car smelling like citrus. Next, start wiping down all the surfaces including the dashboard, seats, armrests, door handles and any other area you can think of. Once you’ve done that, remove all debris from the cracks in your seats by using a toothbrush or a small piece of duct tape. The last step is to vacuum everything up!

Shampoo seats and carpets

This process is simple, quick, and can be done every time you stop for gas or get a car wash. All you need are two sponges, water, a bucket of soapy water, a wet rag, and a dry rag.

Wet the sponge in the bucket of soapy water then wring it out well so that it is not dripping.

Use the wet sponge to scrub down seats and carpets on both sides of the vehicle making sure to use all parts of the sponge including the corners where dirt can accumulate. If your seats have fabric upholstery, make sure not to scrub too hard or you might damage them.

Apply protectant to vinyl, plastic, and leather

Apply a protectant to vinyl, plastic, and leather surfaces that come into contact with people or animals. Use a vacuum cleaner on all surfaces including the upholstery, carpets, headrests, door panels, armrests, floor mats and other nooks or crannies where dirt can accumulate. Clean the dashboard with a damp cloth using a mild soap then dry it with another clean cloth. Wipe down the windows inside and out using glass cleaner diluted in water (one part liquid to one part water).
